Who we are
Bayline is software operated by TwoQM for auto repair shops and detailing businesses. Each business uses Bayline to serve its own customers.
Two kinds of data
Business account data: names, email, phone and password (stored only as a hash) of owners and staff, and the business's settings. We are responsible for this data.
Each business's customer data: names, contact details, vehicles, appointments, inspections with photos, estimates, invoices, messages and, for mobile service, addresses and on-duty staff location. The business decides what it keeps and why; we process it on the business's behalf to provide the service.
How we use it
To provide the service (booking, work orders, email, SMS and push notifications), keep it secure (access logs, attempt limits, audit trails) and support it. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only service providers needed to run the service (hosting and database, file storage, email and SMS delivery, push notifications and, once enabled, card payments), under contract and for that purpose. We may disclose data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
A business's data is kept while its account is active. Technical records (notification deliveries, on-duty location, sync events) are deleted automatically after 30 to 90 days. An owner can export all of the business's data and close the business from settings; anyone can delete their own account from their profile.
Security
Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, optional two-factor sign-in (required for operators), strict separation between businesses in the database, private files behind short-lived links, and encrypted backups.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. If you are a customer of a business, contact that business first; you can also reach us at the support contact shown in your account.
Beta
Bayline is in beta. We may update this policy and will tell business owners about significant changes.
